Mekong Delta Tour: Ben Tre – Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market
(2 Days 1 Night)
DAY 1: SAIGON – BEN TRE – CAN THO (Lunch)
7:45 AM: Depart from TheSinhTourist office to Ben Tre (80 km).
Around 9:45 AM: Arrive in Ben Tre province, you’ll board a boat cruising along its beautiful river; visit a brick factory and a coconut processing workshop along zigzag canals. You then take a motor cart through some tranquil villages with some stops to step into rice fields, vegetables gardens and to visit a local family who earns living by rice paper and coconut candy.
Then take a rowing-boat along water palm creek. Have lunch at “Green coconut” riverside restaurant.
Around 3:00 PM: Leave Ben Tre province for Can Tho passing through Rach Mieu, My Thuan and Can Tho bridges. Upon arrival, checking hotel and have free time in Can Tho.
DAY 2: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – MY THO (Breakfast)
6:30 AM: In the early morning, check out and have breakfast at hotel. Board a small local boat, cruise through Cai Rang floating market where hundreds of boats are packed with mangoes, bananas, papayas and pineapples... for selling, buying and exchanging. Then transfer to fruit garden by motorize boat, enjoy tropical fruits (included), take motor boat cruising along small creeks to Victoria boat station.
Have a walk (around 5 minutes) to Hoa Su Restaurant, have lunch (excluded).
Around 1:30 PM: Going back to Saigon with a stop at Vinh Long market and Mekong Rest Stop in My Tho.
Around 6:00 PM: Trip ends at TheSinhTourist office in Sai Gon.
